ROUNDTABLE ON RACIAL JUSTICE – A Webinar for Pastors & Ministry Leaders – June 18, 2020 at 10 AM
How can pastors and ministry leaders faithfully respond to the issues of racial injustice that our country is facing? That is the core question for this roundtable that will feature four pastors who have worked together in Richmond, Virginia. Don Coleman (East End Fellowship), Corey Widmer (Third Church), Stanley Morton (Crown & Joy Presbyterian Church), and Matt Lorish (Northside Church) will be sharing their perspectives about the current problems and how Christian leaders can use their voices to speak and advocate for change. THE WAY OF THE CROSS – A Personal Retreat for Holy Week – April 2020Since we had to cancel our April retreat because of the coronavirus, we decided to share a free resource so that people could have a retreat on their own. We hope that this guide will help you reflect on the cross of Christ and what it means for both your salvation and your formation. It is a modern take on stations of the cross – with artwork, scriptures, prayers and times for silence and reflection. It can be done any time during Holy Week, but it may be most meaningful on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, or Silent Saturday. If you think others would enjoy this resource then feel free to share it with them. It is our hope and prayer that God will draw near to us as we draw near to Him during Holy Week.
