Formation Groups

“When we squeeze every margin to the max, we are left with less time and space to respond to the invitations from God. We want to enjoy life, but ironically our many yeses to invitations keep us stressed, drained and inattentive to the divine invitations that bring real freedom and belonging.”

Holy Listening For Women

Is God inviting you to sit with Him and have some undistracted time to listen to His voice through His word? Is He offering you some space and time to share your heart with Him? If so, please join us for a Holy Listening Formation Group where we will have time alone with God and an opportunity to share with others who also desire to know and understand the heart of God.

Our Holy Listening Formation Groups are offered online in monthly and weekly sessions. Typically, new groups begin in January and September each year. The purpose of these groups are to foster intimacy with God; to practice the spiritual discipline of being present with God and others who also want to deepen their intimacy with God; to seek wisdom and discernment through stillness, silence, and listening; to have our hearts and minds transformed by the Holy Spirit; and to experience freedom by opening our hearts to God and each other.

Each session includes time for silence, meditating on a passage of scripture alone with God, and then group interaction about the passage. The size is limited to nine participants.

Holy Listening groups are facilitated by Susan Cromer, Compass Director of Ministry. She has experience serving and leading with various ministries and churches.
